Chasing egos...

All I can say is that this is very well-written and right on.

And just because those girls have big sparklers on their fingers doesn't necessarily mean they are in love & happy. I'm pretty sure most of them are frontin' on exactly how happy they are. You have nothing to stress about...love comes at weird times...you'll find yours.

Yeah I swear at least once a week I find out someone from my class just had their wedding or just got engaged...my friend from HS Leigh Anne Crowder-engaged, Brittany Houtz-engaged, I read facebook Amber Massengill-married.
Anyways, I'm right there with you...if 1/2 of US marriages end in divorce I'll let that be even further down the road for me.
BUT-what I really wanted to say is PLEASE read this book-to me it is any 20/30 somn woman's Bible...its called 'He's Just Not That Into You'...its based on an episode of sex & the city, maybe Skeebs can get u a discount-but its SO worth it...its only like $15-20 at any borders/barnes. that book makes so u feel a lot better-let me know if u check it out.

There's also a book called "Face It, Your Cat's Just not That into You"....but that's probably a whole other conversation. :)

No, seriously...I think there's been a resurgence in recent years of women feeling as though they must be married. I'm not sure why. But it seems to coincide with the later maturation of most people; in other words, those who are getting married at 22 now are far less mature than those who were getting married at 22 two generations ago. And yet...they continue to do it.

But really, you're not a failure if you're not married by 23. Hell, if anything, you're a success story.
