Ann Coulter is coming to Purdue tonight. The College Republicans are having this dinner/reception thing with her for a fundraiser, and then she's speaking later.

Argh! I almost want to go just so I can be one of the cool kids and like, boo at her. But I also really really don't want to listen to her.

Eww yuck. For some reason (maybe she had a death wish), she came to Earlham a few years back. Let's just say she was not very warmly recieved... I'm pretty sure she still holds a grudge. Hope you're doing well, Emily!

Urgh. Seems to me like it would be an unpleasant experience all around. Listening to her talk wouldn't be any fun, but on the other hand I never like seeing people get embarrassed or treated rudely in public, either, so I'd be hiding under my seat the whole time. On the other hand, she could say something completely outrageous that one could have fun poking fun at later. Hmm. Tough choice.
