last month we received the normal monthly phone bill, and discovered that verizon had tacked on a $2 "shortfall charge" for not using any long distance minutes. this is a free pay-per-use feature of our budget phone plan, and there had never been a fee before (also in the signup letter there was a sentence about how they have no hidden fees and it ( Read more... )
