Dancing: Salsa! Can't resist the music, mostly because I love a bit of hip-swinging, and being led by a guy is really fun, and not at all like other styles of dancing. Plus, if something goes wrong, it's always his fault! *grins* I also

Hee! It's nice to know that you're a chemist, though - you still at uni? On the black-and-white humor films, have you ever seen 'Dead men don't wear plaid'? It's a really funny whodunnit with great characters and a ice twisty-turny plotline! And I'm with you on hating aerobics - just had a jujitsu class, and the warmup was very aerobicy and nearly killed me!

Aerobics seems to have a really good press because it's 'good for you' and stuff. Personally, I think it makes everyone look stupid, and it's just too much like hard work! ;3 Good luck on your exam, though - when is it and what on? And what's the subject of your PhD? I wanna do one, but I'm only in the second year of my degree, so I guess that's a stretching the term 'forward-planning' a little! X)

oooh, interesting stuff!

i love to dance, too, but i'm not really any good at structured types like swing or ballroom. i like slutty freestyle dancing, lol. but i absolutely love watching ppl who can do the structured types of dances. it looks so cool. ♥

i dont like watching movies very often because movies do tend to make me tired far sooner than reading a book or writing or drawing does. that said, i do love beautiful, artistic movies! with action, and intense plot, and some intelligent humor. LotR = ♥ foreign films are great. i love asian movies. i totally know what ur talking about, about how the rich history of japan shines through in many japanese films. of course stupid movies are fun too. My new favorite is Blades of Glory. Chazz Micheal Micheals rox my sox...Manga is great! saiyuki is above and beyond the best manga ive read to date, and the most plotfully satisfying

Salsa is surprisingly unstructured, really. It's good to think of each move as a bead on a string, as most moves can lead into any other kind of move. I love freestyle stuff - in clubs, I'm usually the one right in the middle shakin mah booty! ^______
