Haaa, it was the hardest thing to decide how to pose him; in the fic, he's raising one hand, but that could mean nigh-on anything, so I had to employ a bit of creative interpretation for that one!! Glad the results work for you! *hugs*

I think it's his narrow face - it was a tough angle to draw, and with no references it's come out a little less Minekura-ish, I feel. He looks more fey and angular, I think, though I'd love to know more about what you think is different!

When i say fey, I'm thinking more along the lines of the old english meaning, so yeah, otherworldly or ephemeral was exactly what I meant! I think the look suits him, especially as here he's closer to being Hakuryuu than Gojun, so he might be a bit more serpentine instead of army fit!
