Adding memories on LJ

Has anyone else had problems adding memories lately? I'm just getting a box with 'Public', 'Friends Only' or 'Private' options, but no way of adding tags. LJ Help has, of course, been of no use whatsoever. Anyone found any way of getting around this?

I hadn't tried it myself, although I'd seen lots of complaints. So I just tried it, and this is what you have to do.

1. From that menu, pick an appropriate security and OK.

2. Go to your memories. Your new item will be under "Uncategorized.."

3. In the Uncategorized list, click the "Edit" next to your new item.

4. You will get screen for putting your new item into in a keyword category. One of the options is a pull down list of your existing keywords.

5. Select the keyword(s) and you're done!

Kludgy, but it works.

AhHA! Thank you! I think maybe the word 'Uncategorized' doesn't show up on Safari? I went to my memories afterwards yesterday, but there was just an unselectable blank space, which was frustrating. On finace's computer now and it shows up. Hmmmm.....
