1. We have reached that point in the holiday season where it seems like there will need to be a post-holiday vacation just to make up for the week. The sad part is that I think it's my age showing, more than anything. Other years have certainly been more hectic than this ( Read more... )

The gastric flu sounds horrid! Much sympathy!

We're certainly taking things slower than we used to at this time of year, but I think this isn't just age. The last couple of years we've all had some illness around the holiday season - this year it was nasty head colds, last year was chesty colds that left me and others coughing and wheezing for weeks. I thus wouldn't discount the residual effects of the stomach flu on you at the moment!

Your christmas day view does indeed sound idyllic!

I am glad to hear about the Piano movers but I think that was the one item that never did bite me when we moved it. Your freezer is evil ... evil I tell you.

And lets not talk about that washing machine ...
