1. I won't say the pod packing went without a hitch, but it went off, at any rate. All thanks to mouseman, ruarri and wstockall in particular, who was there to help every night, the masochist. 1-4 Great progress, and I'm glad something sensible *might* happen with the tree.

5 Much synmpathy. If drinking in company would be any help let me know when the teardown starts and I'll drink some fine scotch. Or I could send a care package including some! I can remember some of the same feelings when my Dad moved out of the house I grew up in. Said house has now been majorly remodelled by the new owners. I haven't visited.

6 Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds really horrid! Best wishes to your Mum for as fast and complete recovery as possible.

Pod packing sounds like it should be an olympic sport! Summer or winter, I wonder. Tougher in winter, let's make it winter.
