“Who are you to know that?” The Doctor took a better look at her, putting on his glasses to make himself look smarter if not improve his vision. “What are you? You’re not… I’m the last…”
“No, no, I’m no mere Time Lord. Now Minako Aino is going back to Japan with me, Doctor.”
“But she was such help when Big Ben was skipping. She’ll go far, that girl. Just look at it now.”
“Yes, she will.” Sailor Pluto shook her head. “Now I wouldn’t have bothered with you this far but the White Guardian asked me to fetch you for her.”
“Still around? How’s it doing, the old chap?”
“It was never dependent on your Gallifrey. And last I saw her current manifestation it was trying on fluffy white coats. Ribosian,” she added because she followed fashion even if he didn’t.
“Ribosian… Romana!”
“It’s not your friend even if it looks like her,” she called after the man running into his TARDIS to no response except the scraping sound of dematerialisation. “Well that’s that.” She returned to her civilian clothes to take advantage of the outrageously long scarf against the dirty snow and disappeared into the fog.
