Naru scrubbed vigorously but to no avail. Eventually she scraped off the skin and that was even worse. All his blood was already off her. She had to claim falling down to her mother to explain the layers of Band-Aids, thicker than they needed to be just in case. Her mother agreed she looked sick and might be having dizzy spells.
Her hair was getting tangled as she used the thick, curly red mass as a shield. It made her look even paler but the pallor slightly more natural in comparison.
She was still youma bait and of course she’d have to see Sailor Moon again. She still screamed in terror as the horn-faced and red-skinned oni-like youma snatched her up.
Branches and vines off trees leaped but Sailor Moon stumbled when they didn’t come at her. The plants wrapped around and tripped up the youma, making her drop Naru on the pavement.
The youma was enveloped completely and the vines squeezed, cutting off a short scream of agony with brittle crunching sounds. The cocoon fell over stiffly.
Getting over her stock to concentrate on the important thing, Sailor Moon ran over to her. “Naru-chan!” Of course she knew her name by now.
Naru cried, not because of the pain, which was minimal, but because her scrapes bled green. “Masa… Nephrite…”
(a/n: If this had been comedy it would have been called “The Weirdest STD Ever”.)
