“Can you help me with this?” Taiki said to distract her. With a sigh Yaten took up a couple safety pins to fasten the wrappings around her chest. She stepped back after a long moment and left Taiki to put on her undershirt, shirt, and suit coat, draping her tie around her neck.
“It’s fortunate they have such a cold climate on this… in Tokyo to wear so much clothing.” On Kinmoku a noble of the Tankei Kingdom like Princess Kakyuu might wear a long dress but most people wore what was Earth beachwear.
“And they’re as oblivious to pheromones as a noseless bat-monkey.” Taiki didn’t mention what she could smell on Yaten when they stood so close. Better her than one of these Earthlings though.
“Just wait until he gets back. I won’t let him forget who we’re supposed to be sniffing out here.”
