Kunzite/Zoisite may be my OTP, but Nephrite/Naru comes a close second in my heart. Reading it is how I first got into Sailor Moon fandom as a college student as opposed to an elementary one. The warrior and the schoolgirl.

“Charmed,” he said reflectively. Huh, she has the same surname as Naru-chan.
“A bit boring to a venture capitalist business tycoon.”
He knew that voice. “Naru-chan!”
“You two know each other?”
“We’re tennis doubles partners. I was going to warn you before you introduced us, Yamada-san.”
Her wild, curly red hair was pilled on the top of her head, short hairs braided with thin strings of ribbon escaping to frame her face. Her white and green dress was lacy at the bust to hide her lack thereof but otherwise was not cut as children’s clothing. She was merely a short adult, sparkling with diamonds and emeralds and citrine, taller than usual even in heels instead of tennis shoes.
“Don’t go,” he called to her as she started to drift away as she stared in awe. He had been raised to be in a court long before this. Nephrite reached out and took her hand and kissed the back of it. “Forgive me for my shock. You’re beautiful, Naru-san.”
Her chaperone spluttered. “Sanjouin-san, it’s not proper to lead a young girl on.”
“Where I’m from a debutante is known to know her own mind.”
“I don’t know how they do things in America, but here--”
“Masato-san, will you dance with me?”
“It would be my pleasure,” the general of the Dark Kingdom honestly told the schoolgirl.
