I just really wanted to write
ciceqi something, so I decided to write about my favorite of her Mascotverse OCs: Titus. He's like the awesome, silent older brother that no one notices.
Title: “Thor”
Fandom: FFVII
Characters: Titus, mention of Cloud/Zack/Sephiroth/Aeris
Rating: PG
Word Count: 248
Disclaimer: Final Fantasy not mine. Mascotverse isn't mine either.
Titus wasn’t as stupid as he looked. Something about being a two meter tall blond brick wall of a man made people think “stupid as a brick wall”. He was solid as a wall, though, solider than the walls of Midgar and he was still here even if they were not.
They didn’t call him SOLDIER First Class anymore. They called him Chief of Police.
Even this great new world, as it was, had monsters and bandits. There were plenty of heroes still wandering around. But while there were some things that needed AVALANCHE or the Turks, there were a lot more things that needed ordinary, everyday men and women to enforce law and order.
There was something about Titus so utterly ordinary and farm-boy-next-door that people tended to forget that he was more than just the big strong police chief. Admittedly, it was a bit surprising to see someone punch straight through reinforced steel like tissue paper when you had forgotten they could, but wasn’t that impressive, really.
People tended to forget what “SOLDIER First Class” meant in terms of Mako when one wasn’t in the habit of randomly collapsing and hallucinating like some people. He could See perfectly well, just wasn’t in the habit of sitting around angsting about it. Wasn’t anything to angst about, as far as he saw it.
Somewhere Tyr, Odin, Skadi, and Frigga were together and a little Thor doll stood guard over them and there was nowhere he would rather be.
