sm_monthly March 22 theme
I wrote Sailor Moon/Death Note, so then I was thinking "crossover fun; I should write more". So, I was skimming the list of prompts left and I saw "Hokage". I had to go back and read it two times till I realized it said "Hostage", so this was born.

“We have your teddy bear and we’re holding it hostage,” said the note. Well, considering it had been cut out from various bits in the latest Shounen Jump magazine, it said, “We’re holding Hokage”, but the “k” had been blacked out and a badly-cut-out “s” and “t” pasted above it.
“Teddy bear?” Motoki blinked in confusion.
Mamoru looked over the note. “They probably meant turtle.”
“Turtle? Kamekichi? Nooooo!”
“Calm down, man.”
“But they’ll turn him into s-s-sou-soup! That’s what that illustration means, isn’t it?!”
“Actually, I think it means they want you to go to the seafood restaurant on Fourth Street. Bring something nice to wear.”
“What?” Motoki blinked in confusion. “Why?”
“Because they’re probably trying to set you up on a date with Kino,” said Mamoru like it should have been obvious. “Recently married women think all their friends should be married to.”
Motoki gaped.
“Just get over there before they do go ninja on your turtle.”
