“Just because Mamoru-san du--left you Beryl doesn’t mean your life is over.”
“What do you know?” she whined. “She’s pretty and popular and the head cheerleader to his quarterback.”
“I know a lot of things. Like that he’s only dating her because she said she’d completely destroy Kunzite-san if he didn’t.”
“But she did break up with Kunzite, to date Mamoru.”
“Breaking up isn’t the end of the world for everyone, even getting replaced with your best friend. She set him up with Aino-san, the drill team captain. She could have completely psychologically taken him apart. She’s a bitch, but she’s that good at it.”
“How… how do you know?” Usagi asked between hicks.
“Mamoru-san told only Zoisite-kun, but he told me. He also told me that Mamoru-san’s other best friend Jadeite-san’s car is broken, so Mamoru-san will be waiting in the parking lot for him to get out of band practice. Right now.”
“Oh thank you Ami-chan!”
“Wash your face and go already.”
“Right!” Usagi yelled, already over her heartbroken anguish.
