Rain!

Holy crap, I am never going anywhere in this city without my rain pants again! It wasn't raining when I went into my exam, but it was pouring when I came out!! (bad sign maybe?) In the 5 minutes it took me to ride my bike home my jeans got soaked completely through, as did my socks through my running shoes! Grrr

You should know better, you're a native west coaster! I like my waterproof boots and big umbrella that I got. Does nothing against the snow though :(

an umbrella wouldn't do much good on my bike! (unless maybe the wind caught it just right, and flew me home like Mary Poppins! :)

What are 'rain pants'?

I'm looking for a bit more of a desciption than pants you wear in the rain as well :)

haha, thanks for the qualifier, I probably would have said exactly that ;)

They're just thin plasticy pants, made out of the same material as a rain poncho (do you know what that is? Maybe it never rains in Brisbane, can't wait to get there! hehe ;). They have a big elasticy waste and cuffs so you can slip them on over your normal pants.

Are plasticy and elasticy real words? hehe ;)

Heh heh. So it's basically the bottom half of a rain coat as we call it here in Australia :)
