This morning, before I go to work, I am dropping Dieter off at the Vet. This time it's not for diabetes related stuff, No, this morning the old man is going to have several fast growing masses removed from his chest. My sister had to put her cat down this weekend. The poor kitty was 18 and could barely walk anymore. Getting into the cat litter was extremely difficult for him. My nephew and I had a good talk about it on the phone and we came to the conclusion that this was for the best, as Barnaby was suffering quite a bit. I hope that, if this is the case for Dieter, you will feel right about your decision. That having been said, it's still a freaking hard thing to do. I would get teary for years after we put the family dog down when I was 16.

Sorry this is kinda rambly. My head isn't feeling very focussed today :) Oh, the long weekends do take their tole.

Dieter's probably been surfing the internet trying to figure out how to get some more attention.

Did you get him back today? How's he doing?

Bailey had some weirdo thing wrong with her sometime before I left that the vet never did figure out what was wrong (remember when she couldn't keep anything down for days?). She was in the vet overnight for a few nights and I remember being so upset and worrying about her so I understand how worried you must be.

It is very normal and i don't blame you at all. Geilo will be 7 this June and it scares me he is already that old.

nothing anyone can say will make you feel any better, well maybe the vet...but i will think of you and if you need to talk...just let me know.
