A bad B movie is a very good way to describe it. I actually thought Wentworth and Sarah did a great job considering the material they were given. The goodbye scene and the video message were so sad. I totally agree everything felt rushed, as if they crammed in filming these scenes at the end of the day. I hated the way Michael died. I'm thinking the writers thought they were being clever, Mike saved Linc from the chair only to suffer a similar fate. Yes, the promo pics were very misleading and really I shouldn't be surprised that anything that wasn't totally depressing only lasted 2 minutes.

I don't know how the hell this was supposed to make anyone feel any better.

WTF were they thinking.

I was trying to explain this to my boyfriend (who is not a viewer but knows my obsession) and I couldn't explain it other than that it was bad and he was surprised because that is really a first for me.

I should move on from this, really.

Heh, you an me both. I haven't come across one person who felt that TFB worked. Apart from a certain poster at TWOP who seems to enjoy cruelty and rubbing Michael's death in people's faces.

I was thinking of you before this episode and I had hoped that it would give you, and all of us, some peace but I think that was expecting too much from these writers. Reward for our loyalty my ass!

What did they do to our show?!

I always thought it was ironic that a on TWoP a TV show that is popular because of its lead character, is represented (and dominated) by people who are still moaning about Abruzzi or are only all over it when Sara's head is in a box.
*facepalms*

I will find a way to spin it eventually but I feel devastated now by not only Michael's death but the way people will look back at this end.
Thanks Katie.

Sweetie, I've thought of you today after watching this. I hope it gets easier soon, and I'm glad there were bits and pieces you liked from this post-finale thing, in spite of, you know, how it all went down.

*hugs you*

Hi Laura,

I am stunned more than anything because I thought it was so bad but I will try to focus on the good like I always do but they make it nearly impossible.
*hugs you back*

No words, lady.

But I do have hugs and Karen (in Australia). With love.

*sings...*

'Looong ago, and so far away....I fell in love with you,
before the second show.'

then...(climax)

'don't you remember you told me you loved me, BABYYYYYYY?
Said you'd be coming back this way again, BAbbbbbyyyyy...'

GET KAREN AWAY FROM ME

I am trying to avoid emo music for the last week, which is nearly impossible because it is my job. Another thing those fuckers ruined for me.
*thinking of ways to blame the financial crisis on the writers and FOX as well*

Thanks Rose.
*will save Karen for better times*

I can't put into words how I'm feeling, only that I'm so, SO sad and angry and furious that something I loved so much could have been turned into something that's making me so miserable. Don't we get enough of that in real life, FFS?

*hugs you*

I can't talk about it yet, but I will say two things. I have written Safe House baby fic, and no body means no death. I didn't see him die, therefore he did not die, and in four years and one day, he is going to turn up on Sara's doorstep. YES.

You don't have to say anything, cause I KNOW and I am glad I don't have to deal with this on my own.

Don't we get enough of that in real life, FFS?

So much WORD to that!!!

*hugs you and your incredible talent*

Hi Mo!

I agree, 100% about this Final Break. I watched with expectations only of some M/S scenes and some canon to tell me how he died, etc, and I got that, so I wasn't disappointed.

First though, what I liked:

1. Michael's visit to Sara and their emotions (HER trying to have a brave face and HIM being very upset) despite the no-touching was like old times. Yes. What you said.

2. Gretchen sans makeup. lol

3. Sara being a badass (even though it was B-movie-ish).

4. Michael knowing from the start that the only thing he could count on concerning T-Bag was that he was not to be trusted...I love that M had this twisted plan all along.

5. The shout-outs to S1.

What I didn't like:

1. A full season of Cherry Hill smooshed into 2 eps. Or as you said: Maybe this was suppose to be S5 (or Cherry Hill) and this was what Went was talking about when he made the money gesture in his grumpy interview?? Yes. Definitely ( ... )

The end. This should have been filled with the raw emotion we were denied in the Flash Forward. I can go with the blank shock on Sara's face, but only for so long...by the time she was in the van, she should have broken down. And Linc should have been yelling and throwing things. It's like the actors ran out of steam, yes?Word ( ... )

This scene like the FF scene from 4.22 left me feeling empty and no matter how much I try I can not relate to it whatsoever and like you I felt like I was watching something else.
