i'm surprised the great wall of china isn't on your list.
my list:
- the great pyramids (of course)
- the great wall of china
- taj mahal
- stonehenge
- the acropolis
- the colosseum
- machu picchu

it's ridiculous (at least to me) that the statue of liberty is on the list.

dammit. now i wanna travel.

Lizzie made a good point... SO I decided to google online. Here's what I found.

Seven Wonders of the World refers generally to any number of lists which list popular sites for tourism. The oldest and most famous is the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, largely a tourist guide for travelers of the ancient world who wanted to see the most famous and well known sight-seeing destinations.

Check out that website. It has all the explanations of the natural wonders as well as the modern wonders of the world. Just for FYI, if you're interested! *wink*

Did you know that I've been to Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany about 5 years ago? It was GORGEOUS!!! HUGE too!! Had over 100 rooms, seriously. And they had a bridge called the Bloody Mary Bridge. It was HIGH above the ground in the Alps overlooking the castle in the background. One day, the King's wife, Mary, wasn't happy and committed a suicide by jumping off the bridge. Thus, they named it the Bloody Mary Bridge. Interesting, don't you think?
