i don't know! it doesn't make any sense to me. maybe they felt we wouldn't be getting the full benefit of the class for our money? we usually don't do anything that important anyway. they're probably someone who doesn't do the work either way, so they don't care if we're being punished. oh and we were going to have two days off for halloween and election day to work on a take home midterm. but no more.
