[Personality]

Rose is not your typical 13 year old girl, in fact she is something akin to a child prodigy judging by her talent as a violinist, psychoanalytical skills and her extremely vast vocabulary. She is obviously the most mature party member, or at the very least, would like to think she is. She is usually stoic, stern and rather sarcastic with a nice touch of dry wit. Her penchant for sarcasm leaves people questioning her and her motives constantly, never entirely sure if she should be taken seriously or if she is being serious herself. Rose is also a very private person and this may have something to do with it. She tends to hide parts of herself and her hobbies, even from her close friends. She is also very good at keeping her emotions in check where the others may not.

Because of the odd relationship she shares with her mother Rose tends to wage psychological warfare with both the mentioned parental figure and even her friends and enemies. She sees her mother's over the top gestures to be but a passive-aggressive battle that she intends to win over and over again. Thus she never really believes in the sincerity of kind gestures brought her way, such as John's birthday gift seeming like a "facetious sentimental gesture," though no one is quite sure whether she truly believes such statements or if she's simply unwilling to admit that she appreciates such a sentiment. It's just as bad for her enemies as well, as noted while she speaks to the trolls and fails to believe that most of the time they're trying to help. She is willing to admit when she is wrong though, at the very least.

She also has an affinity for things dealing with the macabre and dabbles in the bestially strange and fictitious. She also enjoys writing purple-prose laced fanfiction about wizards, but hides her creative writing endeavors from prying eyes as well as she can. This only adds to her obvious intelligence usually not seen in children her age. She is also extremely long-winded and tends to over-analyze everything and anything, going on rants and deconstructing and/or rebuilding others ideas. She is also extremely cynical and due to her overall view in the world being 'gray' and somewhat clouded she is also the mostly likely of the team to fall into a very bad role where she may be corrupted. It's pretty much canon.

Somewhere there is a softer side to Rose, shown when she is willing to risk herself for the sake of her friends in a dream suicide mission to try and save them. She spends most of her time thinking up intricate plans and carefully plotting with outside sources in hopes of keeping those she cares for safe. While they sit and worry that Rose is slipping into something darker, especially concerned with her use of dark magic, she is quick to assure them that she knows what she is doing. One of the reasons she even began playing Sburb is because Jade had mentioned that she would be able to see her long dead cat Jaspers again, and if that isn't proof that the girl has an extremely soft and squishy side that she is otherwise unwilling or unable to show then I don't know what is. She also showed that she really does care her for mother or whatever despite all the passive-aggressive oneupmanship they exhibited through the years and is obviously upset by her death.

Then there's the fact that she took a cherished childhood toy, knitted and fixed it for the sake of giving it to John as birthday present in an attempt to one-up him. While this was intentionally suppose to be seen as yet another passive-aggressive show of oneupmanship in regards to her trying to outmatch him and the gift he gave her, it's pretty obvious that she cares. Why else would she willingly give away something she cared for greatly? and why else would she spend so much damn time trying?

In the end Rose is still just a 13 year old girl with a lot to learn and having lost so much in so little time, dealing with the end of the world and speaking to aliens from other timelines while traveling to weird dream-verses and various areas of the universe to speak to Gods dealing in dark magic...it's no wonder she might be a little off at times.

[Abilities]
Aside from being an extremely intelligent 13 year old and well versed in the English language ( especially compared to her friends and the trolls ), Rose wields various dark magics used to help her in battle and channeled mostly through her sewing needles called the Thorns of Oglogoth. She's good at improvising in battles and very acrobatic with the unthinkable ability to take down an ogre far bigger than her with ease. She also uses a magic cue ball that will answer any question truthfully, as the Seer of Light she is able to see said predictions where others cannot. She can also knit like a boss and plays a mean violin.

[Other important stuff]

[Sample post]
[First Person]

It seems, despite having not traveled through any gate, I've been relocated to another unknown area. I've been told this city is called Somarium, though I am not very inclined to believe their seemingly outlandish choice of words upon inquiry of my location that I am, in fact, in a 'dream world.' This does not resemble Derse in the least, nor do I recall falling asleep whilst in the middle of an extremely important conversation concerning the possibly malicious intention of the Gods.

I cannot seem to contact any of my other teammates, or the otherworldly beings that insist on contacting me on occasion. I can only assume something has gone wrong, or perhaps, just a little off course from our original plan. If my being here interferes with the alpha timeline I fear we may be in a bit more trouble than previously assumed.

Ah, I'm rambling again. And as much as I would love to continue to indulge whomever may be reading this with my dashing and brilliant intellect concerning inter-dimensional travel and the space time continuum, I'm afraid I must make my initial point short and sweet;

Where am I really, how did I get here and how do I get back?

AND BECAUSE THERE'S NO KILL LIKE OVERKILL:

- If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
I suppose that would depend on ones definition of home, wouldn't it? Considering the planet I once called 'home' is now simply a floating pile of burned and charred rock with no other intelligent life that we know of, I'd have to say no.

On the other hand, if we're referring to 'home' as LOLAR then, yes, I would like to go back. It was rather nice there.

- The hottest boy/girl in class/workplace just confessed their love to you. How do you respond?

Considering the lack of individuals that could actually confess such a thing at the current, I would have to politely decline. I have much more important things to tend to.

- Do you prefer adventure or the peaceful life?

Adventure. Surely anyone would enjoy the intense action involving flaming trees, meteors plummeting to the Earth, spending hours in the tomb of your long dead cat while speaking with beings from other planets and dimensions about the eminent failure of said adventure.

Right? After that, a peaceful life would just be boring and unwanted.

- You're asked to take someone out for a date. Do you agree? If so, describe what you would do. If not, tell why.

On the off chance I do agree to go on the date, I would assume we'd first venture into the woods on a long nature walk, eventually coming upon a field. There would be deer grazing, the scene illuminated by the waxing moon and the glistening stars in the sky. He would take my hand and guide me over to one of the deer, careful not to startle it, and then we would chant our glorious chant into the night, coating ourselves in the blood that we obtained from the woodland beasts.

Then we would go for ice cream, naturally.

[Third Person]

Rose had awoken in the middle of a field of flowers, the petals brushing along the exposed skin of her cheek as she stirred. The sun above her was bright, almost blindingly so, and she raised an arm up to shield her wary eyes from the glare as they adjusted. In her hands was a needle, striped purple and black with a tiny skull poised upon the top. Well, at least she still had those. Thank God, because there certainly aren't more important things she may need right now! There are so many various accursed flora that she would surely die were it not for the needle in her hands!

With that overly sarcastic internal thought, Rose sat up in the field, gazing back and forth. There was no sign of her reptilian army that she had began gathering, nor could she see her laptop anywhere. It was almost overbearingly silent, save for the wind rushing past every so often. Perhaps this would have been calming...

Had she not been trying to find the answer to a very dire question. Speaking of, she had yet to see that cue ball that she had been looking into seconds before awaking. Was this a dream? No, this wasn't Derse. Then where was she?

Well, no time like the present. Once again it seemed the game had thrown her for the loop and she would need to roll with the punches, find what she needed and resume what she had been doing previously. She needed to know the answer, to satisfy that curiosity that had been there since the very beginning. After stashing her needles away, Rose stepped through the field, making her way into the unfamiliar village to ask questions and hopefully get a few answers.

Along the way she found the phone that had somehow been stored in her sylladex and after retrieving it found that contacting any of the trolls or her fellow human players was out of the question. That was, of course, until she stumbled across the contact list. It seemed this phone was useful after all, but she was slightly confused by the other unfamiliar names she saw listed. There were too many, and from what she knew there was no way this many humans could have survived.

Odd, but so long as she knew there were people here, maybe they could assist in her endeavor to return back to LOLAR and continue with the plan she had already started setting into motion.

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Because I want to try her out somewhere and messing with her dreams might be fun.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] All the rules. The policy on how you guys handle OOC business is still awesome.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] I don't remember.
[Any questions?] Nooooooooooo.
