Gran
Today was Grans funeral. I had considered visiting Gran to say 'goodbye' in the chapel of rest - on Saturday (the only day I could make it) I spent much of the day wondering do I go or don't I - after looking at the map and planning the journey it struck me to ask Gran her opinion - enough said - I was reminded how she felt when we visited her ( Read more... )

The wallpaper book is absolutely precious.
A whole family history all in the tiny details - better than poetry.
I worked wih a lady who ran a local social history course in her village. She would ocasionally find odd scraps & snippets from peoples lives from time to time & they were treasured and valued.
Plays & books have been created from such findings
A whole book such as this is a true gift to anyone who reads it. So much more when you know & love the people who's lives are in it.
Now that's a real legacy.
