::hugs:: Can't say as I'm too surprised that it's been difficult finding a job. I hate the job market in Utah. Make sure to sign up with the local temp agencies if you haven't yet.

As for the drive, I highly recommend making sure it's unplugged from everything and somewhere safe (screwed into your computer but completely unplugged is a good, safe place) until you have the chance to hook it up as a secondary drive or can afford to take it to a data recovery place. The less you do to it now, the more likely you are not to damage it further before you can try recovering your stuff. As for replacing it, if you know someone who can install a drive in your computer (you or someone else), Newegg.com has pretty good prices for drives.

Local temp agencies are overwhelmed. :(

Yeah, I've already had probs with my harddrive suddenly deciding to work again and getting overwritten, and other crazy horrible things like that. I'm working with a kid from my ward to try and restore at least my art files.

My brother just told me about newegg.com today! I just need to raise the funds and he'll install it for me. :)

Didn't you just love Season Four of Dr Who?
Silence in the Library was one of my favorite stories, although I thought the Adipose episode was super funny. My wife was really skeptical of Donna at first (having remembered her from the runaway bride episode), and pretty much despised Martha. After the Adipose episode, all her fears were allayed. I, having grown up with the old series, was surprised at all the kissing that happens with the new doctor.

What kind of jobs have you been searching for?

The Adipose episode was horrible and hilarious. I felt for the fat people. XD But Em and I talked about how if they had been open about it, lots of fat people would likely have been very willing to give their fat to a new life and be able to get rid of it in exchange. Maybe. lol

I ADORE Donna. Catherine Tate is the WOman. I wish the writers had gotten more of her fast talking hilariousness into the eps though. And why is everyone despising Martha? She was awesome. And _smart_, which I loved.

I quite like all the romance. It's terribly frustrating, though, because nothing permanent will ever happen. I love all the Doc's ladies and want him to be with all of them! Wah! lol
(Personally, it was all about Nine/Rose. I wish she could have ended up with an alt version of Nine, not Ten)

I've been searching for graphic design and clerical jobs. And in those, there is too much competition and I don't stand out. So now I'm looking for retail/menial jobs, which is terribly depressing and I don't like it.

I think I could see people farming themselves out for Adipose. It'd be totally weird, but yeah, plausible. I think all the Martha hate out there stems from her not being Rose. I personally thought she was tons more useful, companion-wise since she usually knew what she was talking about and had her stuff together. At the risk of inciting any sort of flame wars in the future, I liked her better than Rose.
Donna was awesome.

I feel for you on the job bit--two years ago when my wife and I were living n San Antonio I couldn't find diddle squat. I ended up taking a junk job at a Hollywood video for minimum wage & I can only imagine what the market looks like right now. I wish you luck.

You + Me = Lots...lots of catching up to do o_O

I just re-discovered LJ. :D

Anyway, *cough* I loved Rose ;_;. I was verry verry happy with the season finally in 4 and while the library episode was my second favorite, I have to say my favorite episode was "Don't Blink"
