So I survived Steve's last business trip. I did quite well actually. There's definitely something nice about business trips that only take in the working week. I only see him for a few hours each night anyway, so I didn't feel I was missing too much, especially with Skype around. There's also something to be said for trips in similar time zones. It

Totally! Mum has suggested he's not leaving himself anywhere to go - earrings from Tiffany's last trip, a laptop this time; he keeps outdoing himself! But as he reasoned, it's something I really needed, and when he saw it so cute and pink he knew I'd love it beyond the practicality of it all!

That's a pretty decently specced laptop, too. You might want to add some memory, but that's pretty cheap and worth the extra sub-$100 investment.

He probably got a really good deal on it too!

It really was the perfect package - the speed and space he thinks I need to work all wrapped up in a whole lot of prettiness. And he said he did get a good deal on it, Microsoft Office thrown in and all that. We'll see how we go on the memory but right now it all seems like it's just what I need :-).
