Today I feel like I've really got time to breathe. I've been pretty frantic lately. My workload's been heavy, and if I haven't been working it feels like I've had social obligations to meet. Oh yeah, I can definitely buy some indoor skate wheels. If I were to do it I'd probably just head to Roller Derby Heaven which is closish to my house. But it's not really a problem to use outdoor wheels to skate inside. They're just a little bit grippier. It's only a problem going the opposite way, which was why I decided to go with outdoor wheels. I want to be able to skate in both places. It's not really why I'm falling. It's just more a matter of pushing myself to do things, and already having hurt myself so being a bit susceptible to pain. I think switching between indoor and outdoor wheels would be a bit of a pain, but I might invest in some later. I think I might give it a month, and if I still haven't made the adjustment I'll bite the bullet and fork out more money. This skating thing has been more expensive than I thought. I've just bought toe-guards, a noose for carrying them, a skating tool, and cute new laces (OK, they were just an indulgence). Thanks for the link though!

And I think what's what annoys me most ... that irresponsible Hayley thinks I'M not cut out for something. She was the one on the phone to Dad begging him to work out her legal representation when she had to go to court recently! (Oh god, that's another story about my sister's crazy bogan life!) I reckon if I feel capable enough to sort out something like this, good on me. And I was level-headed enough to really make a smart decision and not just fall for the pretty tradie with the pretty blue eyes, so I reckon I'm doing alright.

Josh Pyke is also all kinds of pretty. Watching him perform The Beatles' "Blackbird" was my idea of heaven. :-)
