On the couple of occasions that he actually did sing I'd say if he had breathing problems he wouldn't have been able to do it cos when he sang he was spot on and really good. and not only that but why not just say that if that was the case? Not only that but being on Oxygen makes your voice hoarse. I'm more inclined to say this is a cover up story to avoid refunding people to be honest. If it were the truth surely someone would have said so on the night to avoid the nasty atmosphere we experienced.
Opps there goes what I was gonna get you as a late present. Sorry to hear that it wasn't an enjoyable gig. The excuse is rather lame & i'm frankly quite shocked that they never apologised on the night.

if you will go and see these sort of dodgy, dirgey, doomy depressionados you're going to catch them on an off night here and there :D
if you read up on the crap that my (first) name sake has been going through recently - he really has goth-luck (i.e. baaaaaaaaaad) - it's small wonder that he's a bit of a mess.
also, i've been stood up by nin and marilyn manson (not personally, just at gigs that they didn't turn up to, for wah-wah-wah i've got the marilyn manson sniffoos, or my nine-inch-nail-drummer's-arm-has-fallen-off-itis) and it hasn't changed my liking of them. bands have bad gigs. or don't bloody turn up (which would you prefer?). i doubt they went away feeling very happy about it, but if they had to garner some fun from it, it was probably a necessary evil to minimise the sort of self-hatred you'd take away from putting on a poor performance and letting people down, not least yourselves.
Now a bad gig/not turning up for whatever reasons I could cope with but the drummer and guitarist actively taking the piss was just too much. Having also heard through the grapevine that Steele and co are doing this quite regularly this tour. Playing one stunning gig in 5 and fucking about for the rest is how it's been put by some, then it becomes obvious they are having fun taking pepl\s hard earned cash and not delivering!
Like I said I don't care who you are or who you think you are and what you think your owed, you don't take people's hard earned cash and fuck them about!
Oh and if this sounds like I'm snapping at you I'm not I'm just snappy about the whole damned thing!!! ;-)
