I absolutely love that song. It's kinda my song for a certain *cough* best friend of mine. Always reminds me of how I felt when all that fell apart. I prefer to think of a brokenhearted Steve who's gonna be fixed when I hear the song :)

I'm gonna write Chris fixing it. I just gotta figure out how...

Ahhh, I know how that goes...I have several songs associated with various people(and several with one person in particular, lol), and...yeah, I understand that. :) and Steve being fixed is a nice thought. <3

yay! Look forward to reading that. And I was reading the other comments and it reminded me of something I thought when I was reading it that I should've commented on the first time...I love that it wasn't just all Chris fault. I mean, yes, he walked away and broke Steve's heart, but Steve didn't exactly stand up and ask him to either stay or at least explain himself, so they both didn't make the best choices.

Yeah, like I said, I didn't want it to be all Chris' fault this time. There's so much fic out there with Chris breaking Steve's heart and moving to Nashville. What about Steve? Is Chris the only one who can screw up? Poor guy. So yeah, I just couldn't let it be all Chris, especially when one of the basic premises that I started with was that Steve didn't say anything when Chris told him, just left. Which is stupid. lol

Glad I'm not the only one who associates good songs with bad experiences. lol

Haha yeah, I'm gonna write a sequel where they try to fix things. Can't promise that it'll be any time soon, but...
