arathreel and family held a Christmas in June party yesterday, exactly 6 months from the actual holiday. We had a present grab bag and a cookie exchange

That Timmy is adorable. And I thought it was the malt powder that made the egg cremes.

Nope, no malt powder in egg cremes. Simply 1/2 of chocolate syrup, 3/4 of an inch of whole milk on top of that, then pour the seltzer into a glass over the back of a spoon.

The spoon is the key - it breaks up the right amount of bubbles.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I wish Tom & I could have made it, but since my Dad was out here for a visit that sort of trumped any other possible plans.
