Dawson uses/used parallels and it was hell flash especially if you have enough ram. It didn't play games though. But yea, he knows a bit more on how to run it. I don't know if you need to partition your machine with parallels or not though.

Personally I use boot camp which comes with leopard and just boot up the computer in windows when I want to use windows programs i.e. games. Either way if you're installing windows on your comp make sure you have a copy of windows xp that has service pack 2 on it or it'll delete all of your Mac stuff. Much like a virus. Much like what happened when I first tried to use boot camp. It was dumb.

lol ok ty lenny.

im on a 15 day trial for parallel... im just not keen on having to re-boot everytime i need to run between photoshop and excel, rather have 1 space for excel and 1 space for photoshop and jump between the 2 :)

when i come down i might come visit u guys... my fellow mac lovers lol

Yea, that's fair enough aye. You could try getting a copy of Microsoft Office: Mac. Or just play around with parallels, I don't think you can do too much damage with parallels cause it's an just an emulator - Albeit an extremely efficient emulator, or so I've heard.

:P haha but yea definitely come us when you're down. The Mac army is climbing rapidly, I know 3 people including yourself who have bought macs in the last couple of weeks.

I'm pretty sure parallels is the best emulator aye, it's really efficient and doesn't eat your system resources especially if you have a lot of ram.

Bootcamp, is in my opinion the best way to run another operating system especially for games but that said, you do have to restart your computer every time you want to use a windows program.
