I'm so tired, we had such a long weekend! Friday we got lost going to Flux *my fault* and got there just before it closed, Saturday we drove to Asbury Park for Viva's show at Asbury Lanes. I loved Asbury lanes, its an old bowling alley and they had the band set up right on the lanes, lots of good rockabilly music. We met up with Miss Biyana who

Asbury park is a crazy place! I did a performance with the Dresden Dolls at the Stone Pony back in April, and I really want to go back and do a photoshoot there, using some of those amazingly dilapidated buildings as a backdrop. It was creepily empty, especially at that time of year, but there was something quite beautiful about it at the same time.

I totally agree. It was dark when we were there, but it was a really interesting place. I was intrigued by it too, so many beach towns are all built up and packed with tourists, but it seemed kind of empty there and forgotten. A few of my friends grew up there back in the day with all those Propaganda people. I would go back with you sometime!

I really wanted to go, too! But my practice lasted forever and I had to work on the video of my act to submit to Tease-O-Rama.
