[1.] What did you do in 2008 that you had never done before?
This is probably a really boring answer but: graduated! theres loads more things but it'd take a while to list them and none of them really come up to the level of like swimming with dolphins or whatever.
[2.] Did you keep all of last years resolutions?
I don't think I made any.
[3.] Have you any resolutions for next year?
There's a few things on my mind, like get my "career" in motion by working and training harder, frowning less, and stuff like only going for boys that might be worthwhile etc etc...
[4.] What countries did you visit?
ugh. NONE. thats properly bad...hopefully if I save the dollars this year i'll go to this festival in hungary which my sister said was literally amazing.
[5.] What would you like to have in 2009 that you didn't have in 2008?
A better job, a better idea about who I am, what I want from life, I want to know what i'm good at so I can pursue it, I wish I had a dream or an ambition. Things would be simpler then, i'd literally just be fighting my laziness. Also I don't mind being single but i'd like either to find someone nice or to just be taken out to places by someone nice rather than just getting drunken pulls from people who don't care. Never gonna happen, clearly.
[6.] What date in 2008 will remain etched in your memory?
I wouldn't say "etched" but Brighton Pride in august was one of the best times of my year, and then my sisters birthday in October, and then my graduation in december. All of my family were there and had made a real effort to come down for it and it meant a lot, and I felt really little because I'm the youngest but at the same time really big and proud because I was the first one to get a degree (well, after my dad).
[7.] What was your biggest achievement of the year?
A 2:1 which I probably don't deserve plus a job which actually has something to do with my degree (even if it is a bit shit and I should have moved up by now) oh and making a big bunch of new friends who I'm genuinely close to.
[8.] What was your biggest failure?
Old habits causing me fear and shame. And being a runner for over a year when people tend to say try not to be doing it more than 6 months! But oh well... i'll blame some of it on circumstance.
[9.] Did you suffer any illness or injury?
I never seem to get properly ill but I had plenty of comedy injuries from nights out!
[10.] What was the best thing you bought?
shallow things... my Soho Shorts party dress was an absolute winner but now I need another opportunity to wear it. Can't think of anything big I purchased. I didn't do very well at saving money.
[11.] Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Probably my own.
[12.] Where did most of your money go?
clothes and pubs and extravagant spends in marks and spencer food hall.
[13.] What did you get really really really excited about?
fancy dress parties and going to the beach and work parties and... ugh I really can't remember. So few major major things happened and this year has gone so unbelieveably quick that I can't remember anything about it.
[14.] What song(s) will always remind you of 2008?
MGMT - Electric Feel
Paramore - Misery Business
Late of the Pier - The Bears Are Coming
Subways - Girls and Boys
Bloc Party - Flux ... and later Talons.

[C] Richer or poorer? See above
[16.] What do you wish you'd done more of?
Training, travelling, weight losing, all the same old shit everyone else puts.
[17.] What do you wish you'd done less of?
Getting so drunk on Rushes wine I threw up on the last train home... this definitely happened Twice. And getting so wasted i was a complete wreck at work... though thankfully thats just alcohol related nowadays. I wish I'd done less coke early in the year because I knew I was only doing it to please others. And that is really bullshit.
[18.] How did you spend Christmas?
Mostly at home and in Epsom, I decided if I was having 2 weeks off work then i'd take 2 weeks off London altogether. I had a nut roast for my xmas dinner for the first time ever. It wasn't amazing but I felt a small sense of achievement.
[19.] Who did you meet off LJ for the first time?
Nobody really. I only stick my nose in here once in a while.

Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, Dead Set, Come Fucking Dine With Me! Oh oh oh Summer Heights High!
[23.] Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah. There's a few people who i'll be like "UGH you're a CUNT..." but I never really mean it.
[24.] What were the best books you read?
I'm rubbish at reading. I'm halfway thru The Dirt, its the sort of thing you can pick up, read a few chapters and pick up again at a later date. Its ridiculous but definitely fun.
I got a few chapters into the first gormenghast book and lost track. I really want to get into it again though because i loved the tv series. I wish there was more.. there isnt... I think i read neverending story in 2007. LOSE.
[25.] What were your:
[A] Greatest musical discoveries? I can't say I'm a "discoverer", more of a bandwagon jumper, but sure - MGMT, Late of the Pier, Johnny Cash (weirdly), Foals (late bandwagon jump). I'm lazy.

I pretty much never took off my radiohead tshirt. I liked my simon cowell shorts (nobody else did), and my tshirts with birds on them. Lots of tshirts and skirts and either boots or plimsols. And long oversize cardigans. I don't know if any of this is a "personal" concept, i just buy what I see. Oh and long necklaces with random shit hanging off them and scarves round heads :D
[32.] What kept you sane?
Friends and music and hanging out with other sane people?
[33.] Which celebrity did you fancy the most?
Robert Pattinson... until i watched Twilight. And altho I didnt at first, i grew to love andrew van wotsit from mgmt but only because I had to get into character for the brighton party.
[34.] Which political issues stirred you the most?
It was difficult NOT to be stirred by the US election, mainly just this feeling of absolute dread whenever I saw that Palin horror on TV.
[35.] Who did you miss?
Stevie sometimes, a bit. And other people who I might have liked to have seen more of.
[36.] Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned this year?
what now?
[37.] Quote a song lyric that sums up your year...
"Just watch my wildest dreams come true, not one of them involving you."
[38.] Where were you when 2008 began?
At Sally's houseparty. We swore we wouldnt end up in Nambucca that night... guess where we ended up.
[39.] Who were you with?
Tim, Holly and Stevie although we were travelling around seeing our friends
[40.] Where will you be when 2008 ends?
Well since its already happened I can tell you we were outside Waterloo station, we didnt see any fireworks, and we nearly got arrested for peeing in the street.
[41.] Who will you be with when 2008 ends?
I was with my work lot, and had no complaints, as they are ace. Tara wore gold hotpants over tights, which was just inspiring really. I didnt get any midnight action though, but who cares.
[42.] What was your favourite month of 2008?
Definitely July/August for the amount of cheap drinking and bbq's going on at work, and then i guess october/november as i had holiday to use up so i just had a load of long weekends which were buff!
[43.] Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2008?
I wish i could write what jess wrote and say not that much. But no. I drank far too much.
[44.] Did you do a lot of drugs in 2008?
Not sure if it was as much as 2007, although I did more of a variety and am clearer than ever over what is good and what is shit.
[45.] How many people did you sleep with in 2008?
Three. Hollar!
[46.] Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
I guess so yeah. But meh.
[47.] What was the worst lie someone told you in 2008?
I don't think anyone flat out lied to me. But yeah people weren't as honest as they could have been, but then neither was I so we're even.
[48.] Did you treat somebody badly in 2008?
I don't think so.
[49.] Did somebody treat you badly in 2008?
Not really. Just the usual sort of disregard for people's feelings that I suppose we're all guilty of.
[50.] How many concerts did you see in 2008?
A few local friend's bands etc, plus My Bloody Valentine in may or something which was quite good... I cant remember any else.

nah not really.
[52.] How much money did you spend in 2008?

[53.] If you could go back in time to any moment of 2008 and change what?
I have a few regrets but i wouldnt necessarily go back and change them.
[54.] What are your plans for 2009?
Just discover some sort of talent and if it isn;t there then it isnt there, so i'm just aiming to try and learn as much as I can and get more experience. The end.
That was slightly soul destroying to fill out, plus a waste of time. I made this today though:
I forgot to add that in the summer I went pescatarian, it's not a massive achievement but I can definitely say I've stuck to it. Maybe one day I'll quit fish and seafood now but the main reason I stopped eating meat is because I know for a fact that I could never go out and kill and eat a pig, chicken, cow, sheep or whatever without getting upset and for that reason I am too far removed from what I'm eating and therefore should not be eating it.
The end
