This and
this!
[ Personality ] :
At first glance, Souji seems like the quiet type, maybe one of those people who space out during class and leave for home as soon as the bell rings. However, anyone who talks to him or is around him long enough quickly notice that he’s actually a lot more outgoing than he looks. He’ll strike up conversations with the people around him despite any possible difficulties in getting along. Plus, he needs little prodding to join a sports club and take up part-time jobs on top of being the leader of an unofficial murder investigation team. And despite juggling schoolwork, part-time work, his social life and duties as a leader, he avoids letting it overwhelm him through careful planning.
On that line of thought, Souji makes a very effective and responsible team leader due to the combination of his quiet charisma, reliability, and ability to think quick on his feet even under duress. Many people comment on how he seems to draw people towards him and feels like someone they can freely speak their mind to without fear of being ridiculed. He’ll listen to anyone who needs to talk, no matter the subject, and he’ll do his best to point them in a direction that will help them overcome their problems without forcing his own opinions on them. In the end, they have to make their own choice and he recognizes that.
Normally, Souji’s a pretty calm, cheerful guy who takes everything in stride. He tends to act as the peacemaker of the group, calming people down when things get a little too rowdy and staying clear-headed in emotional situations so he can more easily see what should be done. At the same time though, he’ll join in on the sillier shenanigans just for fun. Even if he is only part of said shenanigans because he was forced into it (like a certain crossdressing contest), that won’t stop him from being enthusiastic about it. After all, if you have to do something, you better give your best! He’s also an incredibly curious person who always seeks out the truth behind things, no matter how hidden they might be.
But that doesn’t mean he’s always calm. He, like anyone else, can lose his temper if he isn’t keeping a lid on it, like when two girls were going over the line in harassing Yosuke in his Social Link (if his tolerance and communication stats aren’t high enough, he’ll say “Shut up!” when they start badmouthing the second murder victim), and when deciding on what to do about Namatame late in the game - if he does not choose his responses carefully here, the team majority will assume Namatame is the true killer and throw him into the TV, which is entirely possible since Souji just saw his little cousin, who he’s grown very close to, die in front of him without being able to do anything to stop it.
He has quite a bit of nerve even right at the game’s beginning, as one of the first few choices in the game have him saying “You calling me a loser?” to a teacher badmouthing him in front of his new class. That doesn’t mean he’ll throw himself into a fight or be confrontational without being provoked first though. If given a choice between solving things peacefully or violently, he wouldd generally go with the more peaceful option. Less trouble that way, and he’s nowhere near mean-spirited or sadistic enough to even think he wants to see people in pain. He won’t hesitate to step in during potentially dangerous situations though, especially if he is friends with the person. Souji hates to see any of his friends hurt and will defend them without hesitation if he has reason to believe they’re being threatened. But even if he doesn’t know that person, that won’t stop him from trying to save them from danger. Yeah, he does have a bit of a hero complex, to say the least.
Due to his parents’ work, Souji often moves around a lot, so he never really had the chance to make any close friends before he moved to Inaba to live with his uncle and cousin. Plus, this often meant that he was left to his own devices, effectively forcing him to learn to be dependent at a young age, so he’s quite skilled in cooking, cleaning, and any other housework. It’s probably at Inaba that he really learns the value of being able to rely on people and be relied upon in turn. Over the course of the year he spends in the small town, he grows from a somewhat detached (he did ignore Yosuke’s…predicament at the beginning of the game) but friendly individual into a well-connected, courageous, diligent and intelligent young man who can empathize with others and clearly express his own thoughts in words (hello upping those five stats throughout the entire year). While he never had to face his own Shadow, his experiences with others in Inaba have helped him to develop himself into a stronger person.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Aside from the Persona that belong specifically to others, Souji can summon any Personae by breaking a card that appears in front of him whenever he wants to summon in the TV World. But he can’t use all of them at once; he only has a few “on hand” at any time, twelve at the maximum, which he can only switch around once per round. His abilities (physical, magical, or both) and weaknesses (same as abilities) during battle is dependent on the Persona he has equipped, so if he starts off on the wrong foot, it will take him a while to recover and gain an advantage in a battle. He can also use two handed swords, golf clubs, baseball bats and the like as weapons when needed. While Souji is at a very high level at the moment, he’ll lose levels and have his current Personae's abilities switched with lower level ones when he arrives at Vatheon.
Outside of battle, Souij’s friends both count as a strength and weakness. His bonds with his friends give him power, but at the same time, attacking them is the quickest way to get him to willingly step into a dangerous situation as he will defend them with all he’s got.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Souji’s a bit of a big eater on top of being a good cook, and is rather willing to eat almost anything that’s put into a refrigerator. And he’s willing to cook for anyone, whether or not they ask him first.
Also, I am assuming he maxed out his S-Links on the friendship route, just in case.

(What just happened…? This doesn’t look like the train at all.)
[ The last thing he remembered before feeling like he blacked out for a while was picking up his bag in preparation for getting off the next train stop. Everything after that until now? He didn’t really remember what happened. Sitting up from where he was lying down, he wondered if this was what the others felt when they were unceremoniously pushed into the TV world by the culprit. But that shouldn’t be the case at all. Unless they managed to miss yet something else, a possibility that made him visibly frown as he picked up the small, soaked bag next to him. He hoped everything inside survived the unexpected soaking. It held a lot of things people have given him during his year-long stay at Inaba.
He looked around at his surroundings. Definitely not somewhere he’s been. Everything was unfamiliar, though he thought it looked somewhat like a mix between an observatory, aquarium, and a city. And it didn’t feel like the TV World at all… What was going on? He’d definitely need to find someone and ask them if he wanted answers. There was no way he could figure out his situation by only looking around like this.
His eyes caught something on the ground. Curious, he picked it up and examined it. After a while, it clicked in his head what it’s supposed to be. He smiled. ]
Anyone there with some time in their hands? I have a few questions I want to ask. Though I guess it’s pretty obvious what I want to ask, isn’t it?
[ His smile became a little wry before something went off in his head like a lit light bulb. He looked down at his clothes. Ah, he forgot about that. ]
I’d also really appreciate it if anyone could tell me where someone could dry off. Sorry for the trouble.
