ive heard that gas is out in Starkville and will be out in Batesville by probably the end of the day. If you are in Oxford, you might want to fight the lines already at the pumps and fill up your tanks. This Katrina has devastated our lives beyond comprehension. I pray that everyones families are ok. I understand what you mean about the material things. I am, of course, so grateful that my family is okay, but EVERYTHING is gone -- pictures, family heirlooms, places where I have so many memories and thought I'd see my kids grow up.

I'm so sorry to hear that. So many people lost pets. I can't imagine losing my kitties -- they're my babies. I'm so sorry.

have you heard anything about st. andrews/belle fontaine area? i'm sure its bad i just havent heard anything about it from anyone.

ive heard that everything in st andrews is almost all ruined. most of the houses south of my house in st andrews are gone. im not sure about much else. jennifer dethloff's house is gone. marcus applewhites house is gone. THIS TOTALLY SUCKS

i agree. i read on a message board that the bridge to go out there is still standing but who knows if you can even drive on it.
