This is what I liked, too.

I particularly like the last line 'remembering a very young Dom, and his own self, not quite young but terribly naive'.
That sounds like them. I think they learned a lot about life from each other.

Thank you so much! I read it again myself while making the April lotrips listing and I'm rather proud of it. This was definitely unstealthy's inspiration, I just went along for the ride, but it was a nice ride.
