Dude, the show in OKC rocked. Hard. And if you haven't heard the Tossers before, I'm pretty sure you'll like them.

I have heard the Tossers. I picked up their self titled album as a promo and really like it. Irish hard rock, ftw. I think Year Long Disaster is also opening, and I know I have seen them open for Clutch before, but I can't remember if they were one of the ones I liked. Were they the ones with the black female lead singer?

No, that was the Bellrays. Year Long Disaster is the band with the three dudes, and the bassist doesn't do anything. He just stands there looking at the crowd with a dumbass smile on his face.

Show was great, and yes, I have seen Year Long Disaster before too. You are so very right about the bassist. When I first saw them, I thought he was in a wheelchair or something since he was crouched so low and the people in the front prevented me from seeing his bottom half. Then he stood up to get a drink and I saw that he was just inanimate.

Also, I learned that adding a 3 minute harmonica solo to nearly every song doesn't necessarily improve it. I still love Clutch, but by the end of the show I just wanted to shove that harmonic down that asshat's stupid headhole.

I'll be moving up to Louisville for grad school in late August. Until then, I'm down in Bardstown for a while working as a lab techie for a hospital. We should get in touch sometime. Drop an email or LJ post.

Sweet! Where are you going to grad school? I assume UofL, but I guess I could be wrong. In any case, it'll be nice to hang out again. My life will be swallowed up by law school in mid August, but I hear that they let me out of the cage for a few minutes a week.
