Hey :o)
Great to hear from you! You mean to say that the broadband isn't already out there??!! %-O But how does one cope?
Sounds like things are good and soul searching at the same time. Are you picking up any Norwegian? Anyhow, will leave you now and will email (from work ummmmmmmmm) tomorrow.
Take care you..

hello, i`m ot really sure how they make broadband worth it out here because everyone lives so far apart. should be better now though anyway, although have hardly been able to get on here since they got it because per-magnar is so excited about being connected all the time that he listens to the radio and stuff on here a lot.
i`m picking up bits i guess, the kids are so hard to understand though because everything is said either while crying or laughing (no joke, these kids are insane).
hope you`re good, i`ll check my email when i`ve done here so there better be one from you or there`ll be trouble.

wow! you're milking cows! that's soooo cool!

You sound quite in touch with your thoughts and that should keep you sane. Write everything down (if you can) when you're feeling mood swingy and then it will be like you've told someone? That always helps me when i'm feeling lost and abandoned!

Hope you feel better soon - this sounds to me like one of those life experiences you will appreciate and enjoy so much more when you get home!

haha, it is kinda cool but a lot more disgusting than i thought it would be, and the cows are quite grumpy, i always figured they`d just let you get on with it, but if they`re not in the mood they keep kicking you.

i am keeping a diary which is good, and starting to write letters too. it took a while to get up the courage to put stuff here because the computer is in the kitchen where everyone can see what you`re typing, but i don`t think anyone has actually been paying attention.

thanks, i think maybe you`re right. i am having some fun days now but days like today when its horrible outside and everybody else has gone out, i really feel like theres not a lot of point in me being here. it is nice to have a rest from work though.

I guess the whole "feeling like a 15 year old again" is to do with change..so, maybe -without realising it-you're changing/growing, like a second, but less turmoil puberty. I think if you want change and to become more self aware you need to take drastic steps, and once you have all that moeny saved up-you could probably still have a bit of time to travel later? It's cool that you're learning new things about a different culture and various farm animals (especially the pigs i bet) and probably some of the language, it'll be something to tell the grandchildren, and impress people with and surely its quite fun? apart from the early mornings..which i just can't do. At least you're missing the second series of "The Farm" on channel 5 and Big Borther coming back to our screens in 2 weeks. What is Norwegian Television like ( ... )

thank you! yeah, that`s very true actually, i suppose me thinking that this was a bit drastic is always going to be the first thought, and probably the first sign that you`re already changing because of it. i have already had some moments where it has really sunk in that i have survived this much and then i get a total high and feel like i can do anything ( ... )
