on wednesday i found out there has been a packet of nails in one of the wellies that i have been wearing since i got here. i did think it was a bit uncomfortable but i am so used to just taking things for what they are at the moment, that i didn`t look. maybe its normal anyway, perhaps a norwegian thing to always have nails handy (or footy, haha

cucumber is agurk - i am still not sure whats going on here, some people serve cucumber sliced in water, but there are some in a jar is the fridge that per-magnar says is the same but i am inclined to think they are pickled. so i am avoiding it all just in case.
