i don't know if anyone wants my commentary on today, if there is anything else to say, and indeed if there was much to say to start with. i have mostly been loving ken livingstone to be honest (how wrong), because he really fucking said it, and i'm gonna make london my home in september no matter what. i realise a lot more now what an incredible ( Read more... )

london is the best, and everything has been dealt with pretty well i think. I love London and it hurts to see people go through this, but there are also some very angry and disturbed people out there.

Will you come back from Norway looking like one of the Moomins? Do you live in the Moomin household? i once saw a fish get hit on the head when i was young..hence me not really evarrr eating fish/shell fish. i was 7 and cried like a loon.

too true

i like to think i've always looked like a moomin, and that sounds quite traumatic! liv thought i was being sick, but i wasn't, i told them i just didn't know anyone who could do that and she said "you're back to nature!"

he was calmer today which doesn't suit him so much, but his impassioned first response was just, oh, i would have given him a high five (as opposed to tony blair who was clearly in desperate need of a hug, in fact, he was the one on form today, with his "this is progress you morons" G8 statement (that may or may not be paraphrased))

yo lady. the bus explosion was so close to campbell house east! thank god that holy place is still standing. of course it will take a back seat because we are gonna have so much fun. london is amazing, and something like this will do nothing to stop people this entire year people have been waiting for something to happen.

oops posted before i finished, meant this will do nothing to stop people living their lives and doing what they want, which is exactly how it should be. but yeah even though it's not out of the blue, i'm glad it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it might be. watching it on the news i wished i was there. it's weird how i feel london is my home and not essex anymore. i'm really looking forward to us both being there. miss you loads. wasn't the fjord bloody cold?? love you lots. xoxo

yeah its mad, even i've almost started thinking of it as my home, i think i recognised from the pictures of the bus somewhere i walked with you when i last visited, which was quite mad. there was a scare at euston too wasn't there?
the fjord was freezing! but i thought, fuck it, if i don't do it now, when will i? (my new philosophy, well, for now)
love you lots too, i'm so glad that you'll be there!
xxxxx
