On the nature of sweeties and compliments

I have a particular sweetie who has a specific way she likes to be complimented. Part of it (as I understand) is that specific words have more meaning in a given context than others and part of it is that she is striving to exhibit certain qualities and appreciates getting strokes for those qualities
