My first grey (well, ok, it is actually shiny silver) hair.

Just because there's a touch of silver to your hair doesn't mean you're any less colorful, my dear! Did you find it yourself? My stylist found my first during a cut and color appointment.

Found it myself! Was in the bathroom at work and saw a glint. Leaned forward and moved hair around (it was a bang hair) and sho' 'nuff - silver. I admit that I did pull it out but that was more because I wanted to be ABSOLUTELY SURE it was there and not just the light reflecting funny.

I'm delighted actually - I've always said that as soon as I start finding any grey I'll stop dying my hair and I mean to stand by that. I just wanted to make note of it somewhere.

Whee! Mine happened about three months ago! My hair's so light I didn't notice for the longest time.

I'd be happy to see it as it comes in! I may go that route myself eventually, but for now I'm enjoying having dark burgundy locks waaay too much :)

I have a hearty handful, all of which are a shining silver. I hope it all goes silver, like my uncle, or salt & pepper, like my Mom's. I hope I get crow's feet, too.

Don't stop dying your hair on account of the gray - just dye strips of hair. Blue, purple, red.... All would be fun with silver :D (I'll admit, I have thus far not dyed a single gray strand; I feel a sort of respect for them.... Odd, huh?)
