Blast from the past

I work at a middle school in Shoreline, WA (basically Seattle, WA). The other day I met the librarian here. She recognized me. From where? From when I was in junior high over ten years ago back in Spokane, WA - the other side of the state. She was a substitute teacher then and dated my band teacher. It was a very 'small world' moment for me

That is so weird. A few months ago, I was recognized by one of the Bon Appetite dining hall ladies who remembered me going through the line freshman year. Granted, not nearly as long ago and far away as yours, but still strange.
