you probably already know anything kurt vannegut(slaughterhouse five) and jd salinger(catcher in the rye). and if you like historical fiction then i suggest bernard cornwell and jack whyte and the pillars of the earth by ken follett but i should probably warn you that jack whyte and ken follett are big on highly detailed sex and battle scenes. and i highly recommend siddhartha by hermann hesse. and witter bynner's the way of life according to laotzu

oh man, books books books. the only one im really waiting to read right now is the divine comedy by dante. so crazy you shud def read it, and dont screw yourself by only reading the excerpts from the cantos in the book or by only reading the inferno cuz the whole thing is just... sweet ass. i love classic literature.

yeh man, alighieri is too cool, i have it but i havent read it yet, but yes i love the classics too! people say theyre boring but theyre a whole hell of a lot better than alottof the shit out today...read dostoyevsky, hes good stuff, and ummm dickens of course and paradise lost by milton, so many, ill give you some lady
