at long last....

The problem with waiting so long to update is that the longer you wait, the more newsworthy topics collect and the harder it is to start.

The last time I wrote here, I was about five months pregnant and finally feeling calm (and grateful) about it. Literally four days later I went into pre-term labour and was rushed to the hospital where I ( Read more... )

Great userpic! Thanks so much for sharing in such detail. I knew it was difficult, but wow, fractured tailbone? You are indeed tough. :) I hope you've recovered entirely.

The top ten list is great-- the kind of stuff you don't always learn about people without living with them. ;) I would've sent you three months' worth of chocolate if I'd known at the time. I'm glad the old hubbie can cook.

It's great to see your words, as always, and I hope to hear much of motherhood from your inimitable perspective. :leaves hugs:

Tailbone still hurts, especially now that I'm back at work and sitting on it all day long. However, it's nothing compared to the pain of childbirth... which is the new threshold that everything will forever be compared to. I've discovered that I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, though. Which is good, I guess.

I'm off chocolate now, but it was great while it lasted. I don't normally crave chocolate, but pregnancy did weird things to my taste buds. Luckily I only gained 18 pounds, all of which dropped off in the first week post birth.

hahaha, wow...i have never heard of a child firing out quite like that. but then again, i dont hear details of many births (and up to date have been perfectly okay with that, haha) Its great that you are back and blogging, whilst i still think i might go crazy being in bed rest for that long, your list did make me think of some things i would not mind getting the time to do. although I am reading on a regular basis now, i still get annoyed when I have to stop and actually DO stuff.

keep on posting. i mean, us loyal readers DESERVE IT - since I am having a case of baby fever myself, I will have to read your posts and let that be good enough for now =)

YOU have baby fever? I didn't know it was contagious. My sister, as you know, has a very bad case as well ;-)

Start with a dog. Seriously.
