From participant to observer.....

The last couple of years have seen me shift from being a participant to an observer.... I'm sure there are a lot of things that could explain the shift, but first and foremost in my case would be the dramatic change in environment. This is suprising! USA has made the introverts into extroverts. Is it an inferiority complex which stops you ?

Hardly! And i'm not really talking about interacting with the natives either...
I think I'm basically an ambivert. I just don't feel the need to be in the thick of things anymore. Guess I have become more laidback in that respect--I don't have the burning desire to "take-charge" and am pretty happy getting on with what I have without taking on more and more responsibilities.
