hello, i hope you don't mind my sending you a message...sophie angele said you are in London? I am in London and looking to convert to either reform or liberal, not sure where to go! have been in touch with the West London synagogue as they seem to have conversion classes advertised etc but not sure about other synagogues. wondered if you could give me some advice? :)

Hello! Whereabouts in London are you? I converted Liberal (and now work for Liberal Judaism), so obv I am a bit biased, but I like LJ very much, it's very focussed on ethics and community and good things like that. Also we are very egalitarian, we are the only movement to have ceremonies for gay/lesbian couples to bless Civil Partnerships (we would have full-on gay and lesbian weddings if it were legally possible, I'm fairly sure) and we have a pretty even gender split in our Rabbis
