I have a J-E/E-J dictionary online which is very solid. But the real key is the Japanese language typing program which gives you kanji options for each word you type. I don't know every kanji, but I know most of the words I use regularly, like "summer vacation, Mt. Fuji". Often, if I don't know the kanji for a word well enough to write it on paper I can still write in kanji on the computer or the cell phone because it gives you options.

JASON! MY entire house says HEY and to hurry up and get your butt back here.
Things just aren't the same without you showing your ugly mug around.
Awesome pics! That must have been wicked cool.
Miss you, hope you haven't forgotten about us back here in the States. Take care Jas.
