I remember your zine -- Filking from C to C. From the few issues I read (and kept), I enjoyed them.
I went through the same doldrums when I was head of the Babylon 5 SIG of American Mensa. I felt like I was the only one writing things for the zine. Eventually, real life took over, and the last issue was #11. Issue #12 was unfinished; it never came out. Although I still have the mailing labels and the hope that I may someday publish it.
I have no idea what the zine market is like these days. I think everything has gone online. That certainly cuts down the price of production, eliminating postage and printing/repro costs. And for packrats like me, I won't have to worry about saving the paper copies.
