[Heather's been a little disconnected from 'society' lately. Polite people would say that she's been training, but while that's been happening, the truth was that a better definition would be 'brooding like the teenager that she is'. So it's with a bit of disinterest that she's flipping through the various accumulated messages on her PokeGear. In fact, she's on the verge of turning it off, before this one pops up.]
[... There's-- ... something familiar about that woman. And-- ... Oh holy sh--!!]
[Fumbling with the device slightly, Heather scrambles to hit the video reply button.]
Wh-- hey, lady-- jeez, are you uh--
[She cuts herself off, snapping her fingers frustratedly as she tries to remember the name. It was on the tip of her tongue, dammit.]
Uh-- James's wife-- MARY!

[Mary glances to Vanonat at the mention of 'Poke'mon'.]
Ahh, so that's what these little creatures are called? Poke'mon?

Yes, all these creatures here are addressed as Pokemon, just as how we address all the ones back on Earth as animals. They are quite helpful when staying out here in the wilderness.

[James is just staring at his pokegear, the video is on but he has no idea what to say. While he had been hoping for almost three months his wife would show up, he hadn't actually thought she would. Well, at least his hope was dwindling.]
[Then again after what happened with the unown, he wasn't exactly sure he'd want Mary in a place like this. After some more gawking that held an expression of utter disbelief and some sadness, James finally was able to choke out something.]
...Mary?
[James says nothing more, he can't even think of anything more to say. With her being here it was a dream come true, but at the same time... She looked so healthy. Something inside of him hurt, but he couldn't exactly say why or what. He just couldn't believe that she was here... And alive.]

[How horrible that now Silent Hill wasn't just their special place anymore. That place held so many fond memories, but now by it's own twisted and dark ways it had forged itself into a place that James considered a good source of nightmare fuel.]
[Which was something that saddens the man deeply. Such a lovely place with such lovely memories shouldn't have been so terribly scuffed, but it had been.]
How could I not?
I-- Well we'll see about going back there, but right now I think it's a little more important that we find each other...
[James wasn't trying to sound so... surly, especially not towards his own wife, but he wasn't exactly sure how to take this. Or how to feel, not to mention that thorn that seems to keep digging deeper into his chest.]

I missed you too, very much, I waited and waited at the hospital for you to come and see me...
Maybe...you were busy...but...

Oh James, I'm so sorry! I can maybe meet you half way from here? Then we can talk face to face about all of this.
[She gives a small smile.]
After all, now that we're here we can try to make the best of this new life while we can right?
