DX10 is already out...isn't it? i have it...or is my computer lying to me?

Your computer is probably DirectX 10 capable. Laptops/PCs that run the 8xxx type graphic cards are all DirectX 10 capable, but currently no games support it. (Actually, one does, but its not very good). Expect them to come out early next year!
