Kim and Paul have very little trouble finding their rooms; they're side by side, as they were in the palace at Fionavar, and their magically provided keys slide easily into the locks

There's no balcony here, and no Jen, and she's still not entirely certain about all this -- but that doesn't stop her.

Kim is smiling mischievously when she opens the door.

"Romeo?"

Paul can't help but smile.

"Sorry to disappoint, but I think that's Kevin."

"It's hard to languish without a balcony anyway," she says, and pulls the door all the way open.

"Come on in."

Paul executes a small, wry bow, and steps into the room, glancing around.

As he'd expected, it looks essentially the same as his. (Thoguh it's odd, somehow, to walk into Kim's room and see no signs of Jen.)
